Two jobs, one craft: entrance and cabin doors in 10mm or 12mm toughened glass on floor springs and patch fittings, and shower enclosures in 8mm or 10mm glass — sliding, hinged, walk-in, or fixed panel with a return. Both are made to the opening in front of us, because no bathroom in a Mumbai flat is square and no builder's opening matches its drawing.
The part that decides whether you are happy in two years is the hardware and the water management, not the glass. We use SS 304 and 316 fittings that survive bathroom humidity, set the fall and the drip strip so water runs back into the tray, and finish the glass with a hydrophobic nano coating so hard water stops etching the surface.

Glass Doors & Showers — common questions
No — and this is the single most useful thing to know before ordering. Every hole, notch, and cut-out is made before the glass is tempered. After that, drilling shatters it. It is why we measure the finished opening after tiling rather than before, and why a change of mind at fitting stage means a new panel.
Fall, seals, and a drip strip. The glass is set so water runs back into the tray, the vertical joints take a clear silicone bead, and the bottom edge gets a PVC drip strip. Leaks are almost always a missing drip strip or a floor that slopes the wrong way — both are decided at measurement.
8mm is fine for a standard enclosure up to about 2.1m. Go to 10mm for tall panels, wide sliding spans, or a walk-in screen with a long unsupported edge, where the extra stiffness stops the panel flexing every time the door closes.
A hydrophobic nano coating, plus wiping the panel down after use. Mumbai water is hard, and untreated glass picks up scale that eventually etches in permanently. The coating buys you years; nothing makes it maintenance-free.
Yes — floor springs, patch fittings, locks, and handles are quoted with the glass, and fitted by the same team. Splitting glass and hardware between two vendors is where alignment problems and warranty arguments come from.
