We do both families: frameless 10mm and 12mm toughened glass on patch fittings for the clean, minimal look, and slim aluminium framed systems where budget, services routing, or a double-glazed acoustic build makes more sense. We survey the opening ourselves, because a partition ordered off a floor plan and a partition ordered off a laser measurement are two very different fits.

Glass Partitions — common questions
Frameless looks better and costs more; framed is cheaper, hides fixing tolerances, and lets you run power and data in the profile. If the partition is client-facing, frameless usually earns its money. If it is an internal team room, framed rarely looks like a compromise.
A sealed single-glazed partition takes conversation down to a murmur — around 28–32 dB — which is enough for a normal cabin and not enough for an HR or legal discussion. For that you want a double-glazed acoustic build with proper perimeter seals and a solid door. Anyone quoting confidential-grade privacy on single glazing is guessing.
Legally you need manifestation — a visible band at eye level so nobody walks into the glass — and practically it is where most offices put their branding. We plotter-cut the logo into a frosted band as part of the same job.
Seven to twelve days, most of it toughening. Glass cannot be cut, drilled, or notched after tempering, so every dimension and cut-out is frozen at final measurement — which is why we measure the built opening rather than working from a drawing.
Toughened glass breaks into blunt granules rather than shards, which is why it is the code choice here. Where a partition is in a high-traffic route or a school, we add safety film on top so that the broken pane also stays in its frame instead of dropping.
