Acoustic Wall & Ceiling Panels in Mumbai

Kill the echo — in meeting rooms, studios, and hard interiors.

Modern interiors are made of glass, tile, and gypsum — all hard, all reflective, all reasons a meeting room sounds like a bathroom and a restaurant makes everyone shout. Acoustic panels fix that by absorbing sound instead of bouncing it, and the change in a room is obvious within seconds of the first panels going up.

One distinction is worth having clearly before you spend anything: absorption and insulation are different problems. Panels absorb sound inside a room — they stop the echo, drop the noise floor, and make speech intelligible. They do not stop your neighbour hearing you, which is a wall, seal, and door-mass problem. Anyone selling panels as soundproofing is selling you the wrong product, and we would rather tell you that at the site visit.

Benefits

Why choose acoustic panels?

Speech becomes intelligible

Cutting reverberation is what makes a meeting room work on a video call.

NRC 0.5 to 0.9

Rated absorption, chosen for the room's use — not a decorative panel with an acoustic name.

Looks like design, not treatment

Wooden slat panels and printed PET read as a feature wall, not as studio foam.

Dry, quick installation

Panels are fixed to the finished wall or ceiling in a day, with no wet work.

PET from recycled fibre

Polyester panels are made from recycled bottle fibre, and carry fire ratings for commercial use.

FAQs

Acoustic Panels — common questions

No. Panels absorb sound inside your room; blocking sound between rooms needs mass, sealing, and a solid door — a different and much more expensive job. If your problem is a neighbour, panels will disappoint you, and we would rather lose the enquiry than sell them to you for that.

Usually 20–30% of the room's surface area, placed where sound first reflects — the wall opposite the speaker, and the ceiling. Full coverage is rarely necessary and rarely sounds better; placement matters more than quantity.

They work, because the felt backing behind the slats is doing the absorbing. The slats are the look. What does not work is a slat panel glued to a plain MDF board with no felt — visually identical, acoustically nothing, and common in cheap quotes.

Yes, more than people expect. Mounting a panel on battens with a 25–50mm gap noticeably improves absorption at lower frequencies, which is where meeting-room boom lives. It costs almost nothing extra at installation.

Use fire-rated panels — Class B-s1 PET or treated timber. In offices, restaurants, and schools this is usually a requirement rather than an option, and we quote the rated grade by default for those spaces.
