Furniture, Door & Appliance Lamination in Mumbai
Refinish the wardrobe instead of replacing it.
A wardrobe with dated laminate, a scratched flush door, a kitchen shutter that no longer matches the rest of the room — none of that needs a carpenter. Architectural films like 3M DI-NOC and LG Hausys BENIF are self-adhesive finishes made to be wrapped around existing furniture, doors, panelling, and even appliances, taking on the exact texture of wood grain, matte solids, concrete, leather, and metal.
The whole appeal is that it happens around you: no dismantling, no dust, no polish fumes, and the room is usable the same evening. What decides whether it lasts is preparation and edges — a film wrapped over a sound surface with its edges properly returned looks factory-finished for years; one stuck over flaking laminate lifts at the corner within months.

FAQs
Lamination — common questions
Not when the edges are wrapped around and heat-set rather than cut flush at the face, and not on a sound surface. Edge lifting is the standard failure of this job and it is almost always one of two things: film taken to the edge and trimmed, or film applied over laminate that was already peeling. We check both before quoting.
Small chips can be filled and levelled first. Widespread peeling or a swollen, water-damaged shutter cannot — film follows the surface underneath, including its faults. In that case we will tell you the shutter needs replacing, because wrapping it just postpones the same conversation.
No. Architectural films are thicker, conformable, and made to be heat-formed around edges and curves, with a proper adhesive system. The cheap rolls sold as furniture stickers shrink back, bubble, and show every irregularity — which is where the bad reputation of this product comes from.
Yes, and it is one of the most satisfying jobs we do — a dated fridge takes a matte or metal finish and disappears into the kitchen. We avoid areas of sustained high heat, so the film goes on the doors and body, not on an oven front.
A single door in an hour or two; a full wardrobe run in a day; a whole flat's doors and shutters across two to three days, room by room, so you are never fully out of use.
